Nvello, its Obed (pronounced oh bee), Justice made a new album that was released October 24, 2011. If you don't know who Justice is (seriously where have you've been?) they a an awesome DJ duo from france. They made an awesome mix of Electric Feel by MGMT and they made an awesome debut album titled † (cross) and well if you haven't heard the CD please look it up right now. So the new album is called Audio, Video, Disco and from various sources i have heard that they took it from the language of latin and it means "i hear, i see, i learn" and they have a picture of that engraved into a coin at their band page. They also have etjusticeportous as their band url name. In French this means "and justice for all..." probably sarcasm since not everyone gets justice and they probably thing that only god can bring justice... since they have that Christian theme thats what i think it is. Plus the new album art is a giant cross with two tiny people looking up at it and the old one is a golden cross in a black background. Now that you all are knowlegeble on Justice (if you weren't already) heres the track review: 1. Horsepower: The beginning reminds me of the song genesis from the earlier album except a lot quieter, the guitar comes in and it sounds really soft. Then it transitions to a fast paced almost stress like bass line and beat. Gradually it starts sounding like agnst by Nero except not dubstep. Transition to the next song is perfect key. 2. Civilization: Yeah! The headbanging tunes begin! The bass line is really massive it just shakes the earth when its played. The wicked transitions make this song amazing, the transitions are everything they are super crucial hits to your brain to blow your mind. The slow-then-fast pattern builds the tension, the metal feeling in your blood, building up to that point one minute into the song where it speeds up. It's just "whoa this chits awesome" this bigger than life song is too grand to not blow your mind. 3. Ohio: "ooooooooohiiiiiiiiiioooooooo jeeeeeaaaloussseeeee caaaaaaleeeffooorrrnia" really great start to the song. Really calm and chill until the music starts, then its as elagant as ever. Totally chill and forever in ecstasy, really raw song, chipped down to nakedness, in order to admire the beauty of it. 4. Canon (primo): Really short transition into Canon not very special its just there 5. Canon: Sounds very rockish in the beginning until the synth destroys the spell. The bass comes in a tears the room up along with the accompanying synth. It's really great after the fast synth transition, electronic as it can be serious dance floor music. 6. On'n'on: Drums tap tap tap synth hammers down. The vocals start and the funky bass begins too. Really chill to start off and you can headbob to this for awhile. I just love the sound its really relaxed but still danceble and since i consider my self as a very chill laid back guy i just love those type of songs. This song is no exception its really chill, funky, and danceble everything that would make it a great song. 7. Brianvision: Helecopter sounds in the intro? Super quick bass lathered in synth, groovy as (i wish i could cuss here) a firetruck. Its an instrumental and this blows the roof off the house. 8. Parade: Reminds me of something the Digitalism DJ's would do. The repitition kinda emphisizes that almost like Digitalism sound, well except the vocals are latered in more effects and the bass is a lot groovier. This stuff is great regardless of similarities to the other DJ's. 9. New Lands: Sounds really retro, like early 80's retro, and not in the genre of electronic either this sounds like that old classic underground rock. probably the most rockish song on this album, since its hard to say there's much synth anywhere. 10. Helix: Man this song is groovy, hell yeah this song is in the style of the old shoegazers. Well except this song is a lot faster paced and its groovier , harder, and they have loops. Extreamly good song to play at any party where the dancing doesnt stop. 11. Audio, Video, Disco: The emiting synth keyboard builds the sound up for 20 seconds and then the really HUGE sound starts as the drums and bass come in, the synth automaticly changes over into a fast paced monster. The Vocals in this song are way out in space. Completely danceble, cool, crisp blend of organic instuments and electronic instruments. They line in the midpoint between Electronic and Electro-Rock but like they said you know this is a "bedroom" album not a rock opera, and the dancebility shows that.
